Gringo Bandito

Gringo Bandito is a Californian brand of hot sauce created in 2006 by Dexter Holland, lead singer of The Offspring.

The label shows Dexter wearing a harness, revolvers and a sombrero. A possible nod to Pancho Villa or Tapatio hot sauce.

In Southern California, Mexican cuisine is considered a way of life, which is why the singer of The Offspring, a great lover of spicy food, set out to create natural hot sauces. Since 2000, he’s been looking at the labels of various sauces to compare their composition and come up with the best possible hot sauce recipe. He created the famous Gringo Bandito Original with Jalapeno and Habanero, among other ingredients.

Since then, he has created a second hot sauce called Gringo Bandito Green with Serrano pepper, Habanero and another blend of spices, and in 2015 he created Super Hot with Scorpion Pepper and Ghost pepper.

According to Dexter Holland, true spicy food fanatics, like himself, have a specific character. They’re passionate people.
