Gringo Bandito is a Californian hot sauce brand founded in 2006 by Dexter Holland, lead singer of The Offspring.
The sauce’s label shows Dexter wearing a harness, revolvers and a sombrero, reminiscent of Pancho Villa or Tapatio sauces.
In Southern California, Mexican cuisine is an integral part of the culture. An avid fan of spicy dishes, Dexter began creating natural hot sauces in 2000. After studying various labels, he developed Gringo Bandito Original with Jalapeno and Habanero.
He then launched the Gringo Bandito Green with Serrano, Habanero and a unique blend of spices, and in 2015, the Super Hot with Scorpion Pepper and Ghost Pepper, followed in 2020 by the Yellow with Habanero chili and Scotch Bonnet.
According to Dexter, true lovers of spicy cuisine, like himself, are passionate.
